36th Annual Arnold Chili Cook-Off Is March 1
It’s cold outside…and you know what that means! It’s chili weather!
Dust off your favorite chili recipe, grab some friends, and get registered for Arnold’s annual chili cook-off! We’re celebrating 36 years of this “hot” event, and it’s going to be a toot…er…hoot!
Saturday, March 1, 2025, marks the day for the chili-cooking competition. Spectators will be able to treat themselves to the area’s best homemade chili while teams vie for the titles of Judge’s Choice, People’s Choice, Best Decorated Booth, and Mr. & Mrs. Congeniality.
Serving the public is from 5-7 p.m. at the Arnold Community Center. Free will donations will be taken at the door. In addition to chili, there will be potato soup and chicken noodle soup, and St. Agnes Catholic Church will be selling pies. The awards program starts at 7 p.m.
Pick up a signup form at First State Insurance. For more information, contact Taylour Snyder at 308.660.1074 or Debbie Connelly at 308.440.6862.
