The community of Arnold is excited to welcome back the Sandhills Open Road Challenge for its 26th year of open road racing August 4-8, 2026.
Tech begins on Tuesday, August 4, in Arnold. Racing events start Thursday, August 6, with the Loup 2 Loup open road race in Halsey. Friday, August 7, is the One Mile and Half Mile Shootout (south of Callaway), followed by a race car parade, car show, and burnout contest in Arnold. The signature event is in Arnold Saturday morning, August 8, followed by a barbecue, awards ceremony, and entertainment at Grazers Bar & Grill starting at 9 p.m.
