Arnold Housing Tour Returns: Join Us November 1 for a Day of Food, Fun, and Local Charm

Experience the warmth of Arnold with a salad luncheon and tour of local homes on Saturday, November 1, 2025.

It’s been several years since Arnold has opened its doors for a housing tour, and our excitement is building as we prepare to welcome guests back on November 1! Whether you’re a long-time resident or a curious visitor, this is your chance to spend a wonderful afternoon enjoying our beautiful homes, delicious food, and welcoming spirit.

Kick Off the Day: Salad Luncheon at Noon

Our festivities begin at 12 noon with a salad luncheon held at the Arnold Community Center. Treat yourself to an array of fresh salads. While you mingle with fellow attendees, you’ll receive your tour brochure and map, and get a chance to win one of two door prizes. This is the perfect setting to catch up with friends and soak in the anticipation of the day ahead.

The Housing Tour Excursion

At 1 p.m., the real adventure begins as you set off on the housing tour. Explore charming homes and new construction projects that showcase Arnold’s residential offerings. This year’s tour features the homes of:

Ticket Information: Save With Advance Purchase

Advance ticket sales kick off on Monday, October 13, and run through Thursday, October 30, at 12 noon. Secure your spot for just $25 when you buy in advance. (Please note, all advance tickets must be paid for before the day of the event or you will be charged “at the door” price.) Tickets will be available at the door for $30. Your ticket includes both the salad luncheon and the housing tour.

Sandhills Open Road Challenge Will Celebrate 25 Years August 7-9

Time flies when you’re having fun, and oh what a ride it’s been with the Sandhills Open Road Challenge (SORC).

If you live in Arnold, SORC has surely affected you in some way. Whether you serve as a board member or volunteer, were a participant on the course, sponsored the event, own a local business that saw a boost in sales race week, are a landowner along the race course, hosted a driver, or are the recipient of a SORC donation, the effects of SORC in our community have reached far and wide.

SORC will be celebrating its 25th anniversary in August 2025. Twenty-five years of racing, and 25 years of friendships made. This event has brought cars from 40 states and Canada to our little corner of the world. The event sells out on opening day each year and has a wait list to get in. We’ve even had people move to Arnold because they fell in love with the town and people. No one could have ever predicted 25 years ago what would happen when a community comes together to “Grow Great Things.”
