Halloween Carnival Set for Friday, October 27

Get your pumpkins and costumes ready! The annual Kid's Costume Contest & Carnival will be held Friday, October 27, 2017.

Beginning at 9 a.m. at the Arnold Community Center, area children are invited to enjoy a free kid's carnival. Judging of costumes and decorated pumpkins begins at 10 a.m. Following awards, they will parade and trick or treat through downtown Arnold businesses to show off their creativity at approximately 10:30 a.m.

This year, due to the large number of young children, there are nine age groups:

  • 1 year old & under
  • 2–3 year olds
  • 4 year olds
  • 5 year olds
  • 6 year olds
  • 7 year olds
  • 8 year olds
  • 9 year olds
  • 10 through high school

The top three winners in each age group will receive large prizes!

In addition, families and adults are encouraged to join the fun and vie for the coveted “Best Themed Family or Group” award and one out of three “Best Dressed Adult” awards!

Put your crafting and painting skills to work and bring your most creative pumpkin for the Best Decorated Pumpkin Contest!
