Growing Great Things In Arnold Continues!
A-1 Auto Repair, Inc. received a business loan and grant from the Arnold LB840 sales tax program to expand their services and to reduce the customer wait period.
Josh Bernt is the owner of A-1 Auto Repair, Inc. and saw the need to purchase many new items for his repair shop. The first item Josh added is a two post hoist, so he can reduce the wait period for customers and increase his production. By mid-April, Josh had a two-month waiting list.
Josh saw the needs and is filing those needs for Arnold customers and area customers. The additional itemshe has purchased are an AC machine, a smoke machine and a power steering machine. All of these items will increase his production and services to the Arnold community and beyond. A-1 Auto Repair, Inc. services Gothenburg, Thedford, Dunning, Stapleton and Merna, as well as Arnold.
When Josh was asked about applying for a local loan with the Arnold Economic Development Corporation, he said “It is nice to receive funds locally, and know Arnold is investing back to the local business community.” He also commented that he would recommend the LB840 sales tax business loan to other Arnold businesses.
A-1 Auto Repair, Inc.employs two full-time and one part-time person in the community. The business does auto repair and truck repairs on most years and models.
