It's been hot, but you can find some reprieve at the annual River Battle to be held this Saturday, July 15, at Hidden Valley Campground. Bring your kayak, tube, or canoe and battle the twists, turns, and natural obstacles of the South Loup River. Adults and children welcome (children must have a signed waiver by parent or legal guardian). Registration starts at 12 noon, followed immediately by a cookout.
