Though we live, it's said, "in the middle of nowhere," that turns out to be false for those wanting to learn more. We commute to Mid-Plains Community College just 45 minutes away in North Platte where they offer a wide, dare we say, full, range of courses. Others drive the hour and a half to the University of Nebraska at Kearney to earn either a bachelor's or a master's degree at this major state university. Still others pursue one of the scores of continuing education offerings online.
