This park is the ideal quiet getaway spot for people wanting to enjoy the natural beauty of Nebraska. Located immediately south of Arnold, mature trees provide summer campers with cooling shade. Arnold Recreation Area is a primitive recreation area encompassing 10 acres of land and featuring a 22-acre lake. The area offers 
fishing, hiking, picnicking, and has electrical and primitive camping. The lake is stocked periodically with fresh fish by the Nebraska Game & Parks, providing ample opportunities to leave with tall tales about the "one that got away."
